In Playa del Carmen, Halloween dancing can start with Friday classes and continue on Saturday. These three parties all announce salsa and bachata. Their programs differ: classes by level, two simultaneous rooms, or a night with some details still to come.
Choose between Bailaween, Majaloween and Bakanaween, with classes by level and separate salsa and bachata rooms in Playa del Carmen.

Bailaween takes place on Friday at Aloft Playa del Carmen, on Calle 34 Norte between Avenidas 10 and 20. Simultaneous beginner and intermediate salsa workshops start at 7 pm, followed by bachata classes at both levels at 8 pm.
Social dancing runs from 9 pm to 1 am, with a costume contest announced. If you want to take a class first, you can choose the level that fits you and stay for the social afterward.
General admission is MXN 150. The MXN 100 rate is for local residents; confirm what proof you need for the discount. This is the Friday option, with both class times and a closing time published.
October 31: separate salsa and bachata rooms
Majaloween, at The Palm at Playa, has one bachata room and one salsa room. That gives you a choice if you want to focus on one dance or your friends prefer a different style.
Workshops start at 8:30 pm and run simultaneously. Dstyle and Giss Andrade teach bachata, while Carlos Lezama teaches salsa. DJ Jaguar plays the bachata room, and DJ Arid Style handles salsa. The MXN 200 advance ticket includes workshops and access to both rooms. A closing time has not been published.
October 31: costumes at Bakanaween
BAKANAWEEN The Haunted Night starts at 8 pm at Hyatt Centric, on Calle 12 Norte between Quinta Avenida and Avenida 10 Norte. Salsa and bachata are announced, with the theme “Your Haunted Alter Ego”: wear a costume or a Halloween-inspired outfit.
The guest teacher, ambassadors and ticket price have not yet been announced. Check updates from bkn_events before choosing between Saturday’s two parties.
