BACHATÉAME MAMÁ, Mexico City’s bachata social, takes place on Friday, August 14, at Centro Social y Cultural Icaro. The bachata class starts at 8:00 p.m.; then the format is five bachatas to one salsa, with the social continuing until 2:00 a.m.. Colombian talents Yei Jenn and Jesus y Sara will be part of the Esencia dance floor.
Presale is $200 MXN through August 12, while event-day cover is $230 MXN. Free corkage means you can bring any food and drinks you want, since nothing will be sold inside. Organized by Grupo Esencia México, the gathering brings together all Esencia generations at C. Amado Nervo 53, Agricultura, Mexico City.
