On Friday, September 25, Lush — Latin Dance Party takes place at 1945 Social Club, in Plaza Marina at Calle 1 Sur, Manzana 7, next to Paseos Carmen and Victoria Secrets, in Playa del Carmen. Two-level classes start at 7:00 p.m.: beginner salsa with Rodrigo DK and intermediate salsa with Marco & Magui. At 8:00 p.m., beginner bachata with Giss & Marco and intermediate bachata with Renzo & Marina follow.
Social dancing runs from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with salsa and bachata, plus a salsa show by Griselda & Escuadrón Latino and music from DJ Incognito. Cover is MXN 150, or MXN 100 for locals with ID. No partner or previous experience is needed; after class, the dance floor stays open, and the event is presented by Let's Dance México.
