On Friday, September 18, Viva México at Lush brings salsa and bachata classes plus social dancing to 1945 Social Club, Plaza Marina, Calle 1 Sur, Manzana 7, in Playa del Carmen. Salsa classes start at 7:00 p.m. with Marco & Giss for beginners and Rodrigo DK & Marina for intermediate dancers; bachata starts at 8:00 p.m. with Magui for beginners and Renzo & Giss for intermediate dancers.
The social runs from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Cover is $150 MXN, with a $100 MXN local rate. The program also includes a Mexican talent contest, a raffle with prizes, a salsa show by Fer Romero, and bachata shows by Modo On featuring China and Gon. Music is by DJ Incógnito, and guests are asked to wear Mexican-inspired colors or a Mexican-inspired look.
