Jack & Jill Salsa Open

Jack & Jill Salsa Open is an open salsa competition within the Mambo Fever Training Weekender 2026, running from October 31 to November 1. The competition is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Salón Acuario in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Participants enter as a Lead or Follow and do not need to arrive with a partner: partners are matched on the floor, with an elimination round and a final. Capacity is limited to at least 5 Leads and 5 Follows and up to 10 of each role; the format tests adaptation to different people, songs, and moments, along with technique, musicality, connection, and improvisation.

Registration is $300 MXN and includes the social, with all registration money going into the competition’s accumulated prize pool. First place receives the accumulated pool for the Lead or Follow category, while second and third place receive a pass to another event; registration is available by Instagram DM or WhatsApp.
