The Fun Salsa Experience takes place on Friday, September 18, at Cresta Hotel Cape Town, on the corner of Strand and Loop Streets in the CBD. Singles, couples, and groups are welcome; no partner is needed, and absolute beginners can learn the basic salsa steps and be dancing before the class ends.
The evening starts with a beginner salsa class at 8:00pm, followed by an SBK party at 9:00pm with 2 SBK DJs. Expect salsa, bachata, and kizomba music across multiple indoor and outdoor dancefloors, with chill-out areas and a checkered outdoor dancefloor. There is a full bar and restaurant, plus cocktail specials before the start time for early arrivals. Tickets are limited and booking is essential: R150 per person, R240 per couple, or R400 for a group of 4; group and birthday bookings are welcome, and a special room rate offers a night's stay for 2 at R900.
