There’s a bachata social at Vintage Bar, 1449 W Taylor St, on October 14 from 8:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. Andrew of EnClave Dance teaches a bachata lesson at 8:30 p.m., and DJ JMPorras spins all night. The Jack & Jill tournament also kicks off with its first preliminary, and judges are featured on the flyer. Early bird admission for Jack & Jill plus the social is $15, payable by Venmo only; it’s $20 on the day. Social-only admission at the door is $15, and costumes are encouraged.
