The night starts at MARS with beginner bachata workshops from 7:30 to 8 p.m. and an open-level class from 8 to 9 p.m., taught by Jocelyn and Miguel. Entry with class is $15; social-only admission is $10.
Then there’s Latin music, with DJ Mario from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and DJ Valerie from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Miguel’s birthday and other community birthdays will be celebrated with cake and drinks. No partner is needed, and tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door.
