On Sunday, October 11, doors open at 7 p.m. at Tango del Rey in San Diego. There’s a cumbia class with Alex C. at 7:30 p.m., included with the cover.
Social dancing runs from 8:30 p.m. to midnight, with salsa, bachata, and cumbia, plus music by DJ Heavy. Cover is $20 cash, and there are two levels of wood dance floors.
Food is available until supplies last, and free street and garage parking are available. All ages are welcome; bar service is for guests 21+ with ID. It’s Indigenous Peoples’ Day Eve, with Monday as a holiday.
